By the end of 2009 you could be able to turn on your heating at home, draw curtains and control security cameras using your cellphone!
The makers, Nokia, call it the Nokia Home Control Center. It is a wireless router which can interface with lots of equipment around your home.
The super cool gadget has been shown off by the company at Nokia World 2008 in Barcelona, Spain. It is based on an open Linux-based platform and includes many wireless technologies which allow users to connect to it remotely.
The hope is that third parties will create and integrate their own services as Nokia aims to get in on the “networked home” market.
