Though at first glance this appears like any other screwpull, this particular version of the classic model is fitted with “Activ-Ball” technology, whereby after uncorking the wine bottle, a small ball pushes the cork off of screwpull. Last by no means least we have the Microplane Grater. Ideal for grating any ingredient you care to mention, this device can make short work of garlic too. For many kitchen aficionados, this kitchen gadget is often voted number one. Originally, microplane graters were used to grate wood until a Canadian woman saw its potential in the kitchen. Presumably, she was hungry. A must have, if ever there was one.
These gadgets are by no means extensive, and there were some that just didn’t quite make this list, that could be of real help when preparing a meal.
