I remember when I was a kid, I had a little red Sony walkman player which I could stick my cassette tapes in and listen away, the worst thing about them was the horrible earphones (you know the tacky plastic bits that go all the way over your head and catch in your hair). So whenever I think of a ‘walkman’ I don’t exactly harbour good memories.

When reading the other day I read ‘New Sony Walkman’ - what they are back??

Despite what most people associate walkmans with the name does live on in latest technology, however instead of a cassette player it is now an MP3 player. And it’s cheap to!

The entry level is the ‘Sony Walkman B Series’. For just $44.99 you can get yourself the 1GB MP3 player or for $59.99 you can get yourself the 2GB version. Both have an FM tuner and even a voice recorder, wow! The walkman’s are available in black, pink, blue and red and look decent in all colors. Another great feature is that you plug the PMP stright into your PC via its USB so no need for cables!
