BSkyB have launched an application for the iPhone. A similar app has existed for a while, but that cost £2.99, the official Sky app is completely free.
Via the app you can look through the next 7 days TV, read the synopsis of individual programs and pick which programs you want recorded on your box. Ideal if you are often on the go and miss lots of programs and you just want to get in your house, put your feet up and watch exactly the program you want to.
The app is available now from the Apple store now. In order to use the facility, you will need to have a ‘Sky Remote Record’ account, you can register this at Sky.com.
