Weighing just a couple of grams this USB is tiny. Why would we review a product like this? Well it has won over 80 awards and also been featured on the cover of Popular Science magazine, so it’s worth a look. This is the ‘Supertalent Pico C 4GB’ to be exact.
Look
A nice looking USB in a chrome and black finish which looks good plugged into most laptops, unlike other USBs available which can be ugly, in all sorts of colours and very chunky. It is also shock proof and water resistant, so hopefully if you drop it in your cup of coffee it may be ok.
Performance
This USB drive can perform at up to 30MB/sec for read/write. It is a USB 2.0 but is also backward compatible with 1.1 ports.
Keeping
It comes with a small chain around the top loop which means you can attach it to your laptop bag if needed and could save it being lost. Being so small and light it would be easy to misplace so not worth the risk of losing.
We tested the 4GB version, however it is also available in 8 and 16 gig varieties. The prices online don’t seem to vary that much. A tidy little USB which looks good and does the job.
