Yesterday Sony launched a range of swanky new bluetooth headphones. The one problem is that you will look a bit like Robocop if you wear them! I mean come on, look at them (image on left), people will think you either wanna be Robocop or a secret agent.
Now to be fair this is only one pair, they are the DR-BT160AS. The other headphones released by Sony are just “normal looking” headsets, and they are nice little bits of kit.
Sony describe the DR-BT160AS as:
“beautifully styled for sparkling performance and extra comfort, whatever you’re doing”
Admitedly they are nicely shaped and do look cool, but if I wear them in public I’m going to feel like a right idiot. When I can just buy another pair of headphones which do a very similar job but don’t make every single person I walk past think “oh there goes Daveocop – the Robocop wannabe”.
So in this case these aren’t for me, but I’m sure they sound brilliant and at the end of it all that is the point of them!

It’s “Dead or alive, YOUR sony headphones are coming with me!”… not “you’re” which is a contraction of “you are.”
