It looks like Christmas 2008 will not be bringing any kind of new iMacs or Mac Minis to us. I blame Santa myself.
Apple spokesman Bill Evans told Macworld that “Our holiday lineup is set”. So there you officially have it that there will be no new iMac or Mac Minis coming out this year.
There had been lots of internet rumors that on November 10th Apple would unveil a revamped and refreshed iMac and Mac Mini along with an update for its desktop products.
It has been 3 years since Apple launched the Mac Mini, but it hasn’t been updated since last year leading many to believe the company will kill it off completely. In October Gizmodo also said that two of the major European tech retailers can’t order the Mac Minis anymore and they have been told by Apple to expect no more of it.
