Even if there are a few days left until the big Mobile Word Congress is going down in Barcelona, Motorola had already made some moves. Anyway, it seems that the company still has plenty to show us, and the releases of the Wave 2-ready WiMAX PC Card, among a desktop unit for those less concerned with mobility doesn’t seem to be very important for Motorola.
The PCCw 200 PC card supports both 2.5GHz and 2.5GHz, and is of course fully compliant with the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standard. The desktop-bound CPEi 750 is available in two configurations , a 2.5GHz or a 3.5GHz model. Both include two VoIP/ATA ports to accomodate your various devices.
We don’t know anything regarding the price for them but all we know is that the PC card is expected to hit sometime in Q2 of this year , with the desktop unit slated for mid 2008.
