Microsoft’s music streaming service, it’s own answer to Spotify, appears to have hit problems and has missed its end of July 2009 launch target. In the meantime Spotify jogs on with it strong rate of growth.
Microsoft is also revamping its MSN Video website so the two could now be launched at the same time. Both services will rely on advertising for revenue with the option of upgrading to ‘ad-free’ for a small fee.
Not many details appear to be known at this time about why the delay has happened so hopefully all will become clear very soon about the new release date and more info on features, watch out for those.
