Maxell says goodbye to discs manufacturing

Posted on 04 March 2008 by Dumitru Marian

Here’s the end of Maxell’s CD, DVD, Blu-ray and HD DVD discs production by outsourcing it to other manufacturers. Well, we’re not so sure that anyone else can provide the same unique experience of Maxell tape discs, but we never know. Anyway, the Maxwell brand name will live on.

I’m highly pissed off that Maxell is stopping discs! Maxell is the only brand I trust and use in everyday DVD-R and CDR (Digital Audio) disc for my recorders. I only buy these formats in cases not spindles and trying out other brands to see if they work is a headache and money I can’t play with! Wal-Mart won’t take back blanks when they are opened (At least I think they don’t?)!
