The well known Virus Bulletin organization had recently published the results of their latest antiviruses test, results that contains a lot of unpleasant surprises! The biggest surprise was Kaspersky Antivirus who didn’t received the VB100 certification anymore.
Reason: not detecting a virus.
Avast and Avira AntiVir are other big names who failed the test. We don’t like unpleasant surprises so let’s go to the awarded antiviruses list. Names such as BitDefender AntiVirus, ESET NOD32, F-Secure Anti-Virus 2008, Grisoft AVG or McAfee VirusScan are always on that list. Now you know what antivirus to use so let’s protect our computers in the best way we can.
