The first ‘Google Phone’, the G1 (read G1 review) has sold incredibly well and despite it’s downfalls it is very good considering it is the first-of-a-kind. Let’s hope the HTC Magic pushes on from the G1 to take the Android platform even further.

The HTC Magic has a 3.2″ touchscreen, it also features Wi-Fi and GPS. However it does not have a slide-out keyboard. The phone goes on sale in Spring 2009 and will initially be sold exclusively through Vodafone in the UK, Spain, Germany and France.

Other phones are expected based on the same platform very soon, but as of yet the Magic is the only official release.
