Nintendo is bringing back some of the old Gamecube games on the Wii. Today they released their full schedule for 2009, and there is a whole lot of games for the Wii and DS!
Pikmin and Mario Power Tennis are the first 2 games to be released as part of Nintendo’s “New Play Control” range. Pikmin will be available on February 6th and Mario Power Tennis sometime in March.
What Is “New Play Control”?
This is Nintendo’s new name for the “Play On Wii” series which sees classic GameCube games being redesigned for the Wii.
Will The Old Games Be Exactly The Same?
No, they are making new versions of the old GameCube games so although they will be similar they will be different.
Full Release Schedule
Nintendo’s full release schedule (for Wii & DS) is absolutely massive, it is incredible how many games they are bringing out. So I won’t list the whole schedule here but you can read it on the Nintendo Magazine website.
So 2009 looks set to be another great year for the Wii!
