Since 2006, when Edirol released its R-09 digital audio recorder, the competition grew and became better and better, so the time for a new launch has come. The company recently updated its R-09 model to R-09HR which is able to handle 24-bit 44.1/48/88.2/96KHz recordings (the older model topped out at 48KHz) and can support SDHC media up to 8GB, while the older one could only handle 4GB. It also features a remote control and playback speed control, a monitor speaker. Unfortunately there is no word regarding its price but the R-09HR is available in the UK for ?249.00 ($497 US).
Check out a video after the break.
