- For a start they look ok, but for $60,000 they should look WOW!
- Secondly they are only covers you clip on, I’d want the whole damn iPod encrusted for this much
- Thirdly earphones always get dropped onto tables, guaranteed to get damaged
The earphone covers are being made by a London based company called DEOS, with the credit crunch I guess even a lot of the rich and famous will think twice before buying products like these. And who would want them anyway? Well apparently 50 Cent has a pair on order, enough said!

To answer many of your concerns directly from DEOS:
1) they really do look WOW!!! check out the site deos-group.com. The photograph above does them no justice. The diamond setting is incredible.
2) The price for a pair of diamond earphone covers start at $3,500. We also have a Swarovski crystal version, available in 24 colors for a fraction of the price.
3) We have very cute cases that protect the earphones and keep the wires from getting tangled. In addition, the earphone covers themselves protect the earphones from getting damaged!

I LOVE DEOS. I just went to Henri Bendel and picked up a Swarovski crystal ruby pair. I love the sparkle they add to my iPod earphones. I’ve gotten numerous compliments and they do protect the life of my earphones. I don’t have to worry so much about damaging the earphones. What a great buy!!!
