This 14.7 megapixel Powerhouse, is a wonderful offering from people at Canon. It is the Canon Powershot G10 digital camera.
I had the pleasure of getting a hands on analysis of this beauty of a machine.
First of all, its not very compact, in fact its a bit bulky, it kind of reminds me of the old 35mm cameras we all have lying around in the house somewhere.
As for the optics, my eyes were blown away! It was clear, crisp and at a very high magniture of depth, all being displayed on a large 3 inch LCD screen.
The G10 produced images, that I thought couldn’t look any better! Then they already were, it picked up so many unseen features. With 28 shooting modes, with auto choice for optimisation, one can’t be let down by pictures being produced.
You can tell the camera was doing its job, optimising the picture from click to production in 2 seconds. The Exposure correction was spot on, and optimised the picture quality, where-ever i took the camera, shooting at different angles and in different lighting.
The G10 by-far surpassed my expectations, it brings a bit of nostalgia back to clicking images with a foray of new technology practibility.
