Call of Duty 4 was the biggest selling game of 2007, the follow-up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is due for release before Christmas 2009, but at a cost – £55!
The £10 rise by Activision, the company behind the game is a bit of a surprise given the recession. However gaming sales are still strong despite the economic downturn and they may be doing it as a test to see how much of a backlash gamers give.
