After managing to put a whole terabyte of storage into their LinkStation Mini, it seems that Buffalo is now offering some extra bytes in its latest external drive. The 500GB MiniStation TurboUSB features a bigger capacity than it’s predecessor, the 320GB model and it also offers up to 30-percent faster transfer rates than the ordinary USB hard drives. Interesting, huh? Well, that’s not all, alongside this model, Buffalo also offers the firm’s own Shock Resistant technology and SecureLockWare, which can prevent unauthorized acces to your stored data. The product will be available later this month for a nice price of $329.
